Our preschool curriculum, called C3, is guided by Early Learning Developmental Standards and crafted in-house by our Director of Curriculum and Learning Environments, Jamie Hubbard. Designed for children from infancy through Pre-K, this theme-based curriculum integrates rich, developmentally appropriate learning experiences with a strong focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) educational principles.

What is the STEAM Approach to Learning?

The STEAM approach to learning is an interdisciplinary educational method that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

How STEAM is Integrated at Learning Zone

At Learning Zone, we integrate STEAM principles into our curriculum through hands-on, play-based activities that encourage exploration and curiosity. Examples might include building simple structures with blocks (engineering), mixing colors (science and art), counting objects (math), using age-appropriate tech tools (technology), and storytelling or music (arts).
